A surgeon overslept and had to rush to his hospital with his hair uncombed, his labcoat stained, and his teeth unbrushed. He met by an equally unkempt medical student. In the halls, the two are greeted by another doctor and medical student. Both of them have crisp white labcoats and look refreshed. The doctor says audibly to the medical student, "You can see which people are surgeons around here due to their complete disregard of personal appearance."
Two weeks later, the surgeon is attending a wedding and is wearing a tuxedo. He gets an emergency call from the hospital and, still wearing his tuxedo, stitches away. He is greeted by the same doctor and medical student from two weeks before. The doctor says to the student, "Sure is sensitive to criticism, isn't he?"
